Fundraising Tips

Fundraising can be both easy and fun! The more creative you are, the more fun you will have, and the more money you will raise! Try some of these fundraising ideas to help you reach your goal:

*If each teammate receives five, $25 dollar donations you reach your teams mandatory goal*
 

• Create small business cards with team website address to give to family and friends to help direct and remind potential donors.
• Email or mail a personal appeal to all your friends, family and co-workers telling them why you participate in SmithFest and ask them to donate!
• Throw a party! Ask all your guests to support your charitable efforts.
• Hold raffles. Ask vendors or local businesses to donate the prizes.
• Ask your company to get involved. Will they put out an e-mail/internal website bulletin to employees and vendors?
• Keep in mind this is a Team Effort, get together and brain storm!
